Welcome to Training Camp!

  • Instruction is geared for traditional “Greenland style” paddling. Our 2008 schedule outlines our usual routine.
  • This year our featured guest was Greg Stamer. Greg shared his experience from a circumnavigation of Newfoundland, as well as his 2007 Iceland circumnavigation. Greg is a founding Director of Qajaq USA, and serves as the organization’s President.
  • Our 2008 mentors included Michigan-based Diane Carr, Don Goss and Nancy Thornton. Alex Pak joined us from Minnesota. Visiting us from the Walden Qajaq Society was Dan Segal, and from Burlington, Vermont the paddling family of John McConnell, and Emmett Dooley. Leading the Allunaariaqattaarneq (Inuit Rope Gymnastics) was Dubside.
  • Food & Lodging available onsite.
  • AkuilisaqA Thursday afternoon/evening arrival option is available to all attendees.
